NABARD MABIF, in collaboration with Bharat Centre of Excellence for Collective Enterprises (BCECE), ESAF Foundation organized a “State-Level Network Meeting” on 29th January 2025 at MABIF, AC & RI, Madurai.
With 60 participants representing 32 Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), the event was a dynamic platform for knowledge-sharing and strategic discussions.
Key Highlights:
-FPO Strengthening: Mr. G. Madhanagopal, Manager (FPO), MABIF, shared insights into the vital role of Agri-business Incubation Centres in strengthening FPOs.
-New Agricultural Policy: Mrs. L. Meena, Agricultural Officer, led discussions on the impact of the New Agricultural Policy on FPOs.
-Market Linkage Strategies: Mr. Shankaran Ramamurthy, Frigoscan Post Harvest Technologies delved into market linkage strategies and commodity marketing in Tamil Nadu.
-Group Discussions: Ms. Sharika, Manager (BCECE), ESAF Foundation, facilitated interactive group discussions, tackling challenges and identifying solutions for FPO growth.
-BCECE’s Opportunities for FPOs: Mr. Sakthi Kumaran, Chief Manager, ESAF Foundation, presented opportunities through BCECE to further empower FPOs.
