Become a Mentor
If you are interested in becoming an MABIF mentor, please email to info@mabif.com with your stated interest and relevant experience or fill the below form to become an MABIF mentor. Mentoring is a rewarding experience that will see you helping an entrepreneurial team including TNAU students through the challenges and hurdles of starting a new venture. The time commitment will be approximately 1-2 hours a week.
We are looking for engaged and dynamic folks who are either.
- A successful entrepreneur.
- An investor, partner at a venture capital firm, or an experienced angel investor.
- An experienced academic or business person.
- TNAU alumni.
Skills needed for mentors
- Strong assessment skills.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Strong interpersonal/communication skills.
- Ability to work as a member of a team.
- Knowledge of award criteria and selection process.
What is required from each mentor
- To provide unbiased guidance.
- To bounce ideas off.
- To provide Strategic support and thinking.
- To help the entrepreneur to prioritise.
- To build and grow Start up’s network.
- To be committed to assigned entrepreneur during the mentorship phase.
