NABARD MABIF encourages the exposure visit for students with the opportunity to learn about entrepreneurship and innovation in the agribusiness sector. These visits are designed to give students hands-on experience of interacting with startup companies in the agribusiness sector and to expose them to different aspects of agribusiness including production, processing and sales & marketing of food manufacturing sectors.
As a part of their exposure visit, III Year B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture students from the Department of Seed Science and Technology, Agricultural College and Research Institute, Madurai, visited MABIF as part of their course practical class on “Seed Entrepreneurship Skill Development and Management”.
The session was led by Mr. M. Ramkumar, Founder, Growix Farm Consumables and Produce Pvt Ltd, a proud NABARD MABIF incubatee. He shared invaluable insights into innovative strategies for seed sector development, inspiring the students to explore the entrepreneurial potential in agriculture.
During the visit, NABARD MABIF explained the incubation Services that are being provided to Startups/FPOs/Farmers/Students and visited the Food Processing Centre which has Milk Processing Unit, Retort Processing Unit, Chikki Processing Unit, Animal Feed Production Unit and Food Testing Laboratory, etc.,
Around 40 enthusiastic students actively participated, gaining hands-on experience and learning practical approaches to entrepreneurship in the seed sector.
