On 18th February 2025, as part of the “On-location training program on Climate Resilient Agriculture, Agricultural Value Chain Mapping and Marketing with focus on Millets” conducted by Bankers Institute of Rural Development (BIRD), Mangalore, a delegation of FPOs & NGOs, visited NABARD MABIF, Agricultural College and Research Institute, Madurai.
During the visit, NABARD MABIF explained the incubation Services that are being provided to Startups/FPOs/Farmers/Students and visited the Food Processing Centre which has Milk Processing Unit, Retort Processing Unit, Chikki Processing Unit, Animal Feed Production Unit and Food Testing Laboratory, etc.,
The event also featured insightful experience-sharing sessions by startups associated with NABARD MABIF, including Mr. M. Dhinesh (Dhaanyas Natural Products), Mr. Prasanna (SUVI Foods), and Mr. Hari Balaji (Amman Millet Foods Pvt. Ltd.), who shared their entrepreneurial journeys and experiences.
