Madurai Agribusiness Incubation Forum (NABARD MABIF) proudly participated in the prestigious “Felicitation Event for Laboratories Granted Fresh Accreditation” held at New Delhi on 9th December 2024.
During the event, MABIF Food Testing Laboratory was honored with the Accreditation Certificate, presented by Mr. N. Venkateswaran, CEO, National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) and the certificate was received by Er. Ganesh Moorthy K, CEO, NABARD MABIF, Dr. E. Somasundaram, Director, DABD, TNAU-Coimbatore, Dr. P. P. Mahendran, Dean, AC&RI – Madurai and Mr. Malaisamy C, Deputy Manager (FP), MABIF.
Additionally, Team NABARD MABIF visited the various GoI organizations to explore potential opportunities for the startup ecosystem in agribusiness.
A meeting was held with Mr. Sunil Kumar Newar, Joint Director, MSME, Mr. Satish Kumar, Assistant Director, MSME and Mr. Ajit Jaiswal, Senior Consultant, MSME at Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India, Delhi, to discuss strategies for strengthening the MABIF’s Intellectual Property Facilitation Centre (IPFC).
Meeting with Dr. Sudhanshu, Secretary, APEDA, to discuss the agri-startup incubation ecosystem and strategies for supporting SMEs to explore the international export marketing.
