NABARD MABIF along with ESAF has jointly organized a “Training Programme on Capacity building training to FPOs on “Branding, Packaging, Licensing and Marketing” for NABARD – MABIF CBBO FPOs on 20th October’23 at NABARD MABIF, AC&RI, Madurai. The event was graced by esteemed Chief Guests Dr. P.P. Mahendran, Dean, AC & RI, Madurai, Er. K. Ganeshmoorthy, CEO, NABARD MABIF & Mr. Sakthikumaran, Chief Manager, Farm Sector Initiatives, ESAF.

NABARD – MABIF CBBO Promoting 25 FPOs in 4 regions by covering 11 districts, under the CSS scheme for the Formation & Promotion of 10K FPOs.

A total of 100 passionate members, including BODs & CEOs, from 25 FPOs actively participated in this transformative program.

The training sessions delved into crucial aspects of “Branding, Packaging, Licensing, and Marketing.” Here’s a glimpse of the valuable insights shared:

Branding and Packaging:

Mr. Jayakumar from Nextesign highlighted the significance of packaging, types of packaging, and the art of designing impactful logos.

Exploring Export Opportunities:

Dr. Balaji, Professor, Economics Department, AC&RI, Madurai discussed exciting export avenues available for FPOs, paving the way for global recognition.

Mastering the Art of Marketing:

Mr. Muthukumar, Founder & CEO, MK Agbiz Technocrats, shed light on various marketing strategies, emphasizing their importance and benefits in the agricultural sector.

Compliance Essentials:

Team NABARD MABIF provided essential insights into mandatory compliances for FPOs, covering aspects like GST, Barcode, Trademark, IEC, MSME, Agmark, FSSAI, APEDA, and input licenses.

Crafting Effective Pricing Strategies:

Dr. Mayil Murugan, Professor, Madura College, shared wisdom on the importance of pricing and adopting suitable strategies, crucial for the success of FPOs.
