On 25th July 2025, as part of the “On – Location Training Programme on Rural Startup Ecosystem” conducted by Bankers Institute of Rural Development (BIRD), Mangalore, a delegation of FPOs/Bankers/Students/Farmers and NGOs, visited NABARD MABIF, Agricultural College and Research Institute, Madurai.
During the visit, NABARD MABIF explained the incubation Services that are being provided to Startups/FPOs/Farmers/Students and visited the Food Processing Centre which has Milk Processing Unit, Retort Processing Unit, Chikki Processing Unit, Animal Feed Production Unit and Food Testing Laboratory, etc.,
The event also featured a field visit with startups associated with NABARD MABIF, including Mr. Prabaharan Venugopal (Cup Time) and Mr. Kishore M.R, (Rearly Tech Pvt. Ltd.), who shared their entrepreneurial journeys and insights during the visit.
