NABARD MABIF encourages student exposure visits by providing meaningful learning opportunities in entrepreneurship, innovation and agribusiness development.
As a part of their exposure visit, III-Year B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture students from the Department of Seed Science and Technology, Agricultural College and Research Institute, Madurai, visited MABIF as part of their course practical class on “Seed Entrepreneurship Skill Development and Management”.
The visit focused on the practical component “Central Sector Schemes – NABARD Financial Assistance for Establishment of Seed Companies,” where students gained insights into NABARD’s support for seed entrepreneurship, agribusiness incubation, startup promotion and opportunities for establishing sustainable seed enterprises.
The students also visited the Food Processing Centre, which has Milk Processing Unit, Retort Processing Unit, Chikki Processing Unit, Animal Feed Production Unit and Food Testing Laboratory, etc.,
35 enthusiastic students actively participated, gaining hands-on experience and learning practical approaches to entrepreneurship in the seed sector.
