NABARD MABIF, in association with NABARD & NABKISAN, successfully conducted Neithal Thiruvizha ’26 at V.O.C. College Ground, Tuticorin, bringing together farmers, FPOs, SHGs, Startups and GI associations to celebrate the rich heritage, culture and entrepreneurial spirit of the coastal region.
The grand exhibition brought together 28 FPOs, 2 NABARD Special Project consortium, 14 SHGs & Startups, and 2 GI Associations, showcasing a diverse range of traditional, value-added, food, agricultural and GI-tagged products. The stalls provided a vibrant platform for farmers, artisans, SHGs and entrepreneurs to showcase their unique products, connect with customers and explore new business and market linkage opportunities.
A special highlight of the event was the visit of Tmt. Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Tuticorin, who visited all the NABARD stalls and interacted with the participating enterprises. She also distributed mementos to MABIF-promoted FPOs and startups, appreciating their entrepreneurial efforts and contributions.
We were honoured by the presence of Mr. Suresh Ramalingam RK, Deputy Chief Finance Officer, NABKISAN, and Mr. Sadam Hussain, DDM, NABARD, Tuticorin, who presented certificates to all participants.
