Cases of food safety related issue are increasing over the years with a serious impact on public health and industry. Growing population, urbanization & limited resources are some of the situation that creates problems with standards in food and food hygiene, adversely affecting quality and safety for food supplies. These new challenges to the food supply have therefore prompted relevant organizations to seriously consider adopting a food safety system on a wider basis. With the above issues and opportunity to train food business entrepreneur and final year students as food safety supervisor. Madurai Agribusiness Incubation Forum (MABIF) joined hands with FSSAI empanelled training partner of Tamil Nadu (PARIKSHAN) and conducted its second training cum certification program of FoSTaCAdvance Manufacturing at Agricultural College and Research Institute, Madurai on 18th August 2018. Thirty Six participants across the 3 states had participated in this program.
